On Sunday, September 19, 2021, participating Woodstock businesses will be raising funds for charity in a unique, district-wide event called Woodstock Gives Back. People have a chance to support the work of various local charities simply by shopping and dining in Woodstock that day, and businesses have a chance to raise awareness and build customer loyalty by promoting their causes.
Falling on the last weekend of summer, the fun kicks off at the Woodstock Farmers Market, where Woodstock Gives Back volunteers will be staffing the Community Booth to promote the event and sell tickets for a raffle of items donated by Woodstock businesses. Another table will be located in the parking lot near Cloud City Ice Cream, alongside other event tablers. Woodstock Farmers Market is organizing some fun kids’ activities for the occasion, and will be raising funds for SNAP Matching.
Click on our Woodstock Gives Back tab to see the list of 2021 Woodstock Gives Back participating businesses with their charities, along with WGB event sponsors and raffle prize donations. Follow us on Facebook or Instagram @woodstockgivesback.
Locations & Hours: Pick up raffle tickets at one of two Woodstock Gives Back booths. We’ll be at the Farmers Market on Sunday, September 19, between 10am and 2pm, and in the parking lot near Cloud City Ice Cream between 10am and 4pm.
Ticket prices: $1 for 1, $5 for 6, $10 for 12, and $20 for 25.
Two ways to earn tickets (rules updated 9/8/21):
For every $5 spent at WGB participating businesses on Sunday, September 19, receive 1 free raffle ticket upon request. Present proof of purchase at a WGB booth (see above for hours and locations).
Take a picture of yourself, a friend or a group (masking advised for people who don’t live together) in front of one of these Woodstock Murals, then post on Instagram or Facebook with the tag #woodstockgivesback2021 to receive 3 free raffle tickets. Show proof of posting at a WGB booth (see above for locations and hours). Limit 12 free tickets per person.
