Jessica Curtis, Board Member of Woodstock Farmers Market, asked us to share this appeal with our community:
2020 marks the 10th season of the Woodstock Farmers Market. This year, more than ever, we are looking to our friends and neighbors for support to fund the market.
As you know, COVID-19 continues to impact local businesses, many of them in our neighborhood. It's generous support from these businesses that typically keeps our market running. However, the pandemic has understandably left some feeling uncertain about the near future, therefore they're unable to contribute as much this season. As an essential business, we need YOUR help now more than ever to uphold our mission of providing access to fresh, quality produce to all in a safe and welcoming communal environment.
Please donate today to our Go Fund Me campaign to help make our 10th season in Woodstock a reality. Funds raised will help cover operational costs and payroll.
Woodstock Farmers Market will open as scheduled on Sunday, June 7, but the market will look a little different this year, as we encourage online ordering and implement social distancing best practices.
We will post updates on our website from time to time as well as on Facebook and Instagram.
Thank you for supporting your local farmers market!
